Why does the skin need special care in winter
If the thermometer in the winter shows temperatures in the single digits, our skin’s natural self-protection is weakened because it can simply produce less sebum in the cold. However, the skin’s own oil is necessary for a strong and resistant skin barrier that can retain moisture in the tissue. Optimal care for this temperature range has the ability to strengthen the skin’s resistance and at the same time support the skin’s own protective barrier. Liquid nitrogen is used in cryotherapy in cold chambers.
Cold therapies help to combat chronic diseases such as rheumatism, arthritis, neurodermatitis or neuronal disorders, as well as to relieve pain and inflammation caused by injuries and/or tension. Athletes use the cold shock after hard training sessions for regeneration or shortly before training to improve performance.

These are responsible for supporting the tissue from the inside like a scaffold and preventing the skin from sagging. Blood circulation is also stimulated. In the cold chamber, for example, you are equipped with gloves, hat, face mask and shoes and are only exposed to the icy temperature of -110°Celsius for a few minutes (3-5 minutes).
